10/7: Good Taste! Pittsburgh Hometown Homegrown

Hometown-Homegrown is an exciting event that celebrates Pittsburgh’s passion for food. The neighborhoods of this region have long been known or their richness in ethnic and fine dining experiences. From the Northside to Southside, Mt. Washington to Mt. Lebanon—Pittsburgh is cookin’! This fun, food-filled day celebrates Pittsburgh’s passion for food; neighborhood by neighborhood!
As one of the best in the “Burgh”, we invite you to participate in GoodTaste! Pittsburgh and Heinz History Center’s showcase of our region’s rich food traditions.
This year’s show will feature:

  • 40+ vendors
  • Food sampling and demonstrations, food marketplace, spirit sampling, games, live music and more
  • Pittsburgh’s favorite chefs demonstrating their culinary wizardry in the Kitchen Classroom
  • Newly released cookbooks and old favorites in the Cookbook Exchange

10/23-10/24: PA Food Service Expo

The Pennsylvania FoodService Expo is the only event in Pennsylvania to bring together all sectors of the restaurant, foodservice, nightlife and hospitality industry under one roof. The latest products, services, and technologies will be showcased for the industry along with a comprehensive and leading-edge program of education that will provide foodservice operators from Pennsylvania and surrounding markets with the best tools to grow and improve their business.

10/29: 2017 Farm to Table Harvest Tasting presented by Observer-Reporter

Meadows Racetrack & Casino, Washington County
The 6th Annual Farm to Table Harvest Tasting is a casual gathering that gives food lovers first-hand experiences of the quality and diversity of locally grown, produced and prepared food.
This is a great event to meet local Pittsburghers who value their food and are excited to learn how to access local food and beverages. The atmosphere is relaxing: music and local food conversation abound.

11/13: Farm to Table Connections Grower/Buyer Event
10am-2pm
Crowne Plaza Greentree, Allegheny County
A 1st event for us! Vendors can sample products to prospective wholesale/ institutional buyers. Speakers will present business strategies from software solutions, effective food marketing campaigns, contract selling, sourcing solutions, etc.

2/10/18: For the Love of Pittsburgh Local Food Tasting

A favorite Pittsburgh event celebrating local food. Vendors will sample tastings & sell products to attendees.

4/14-4/15/18: 12th Annual Farm to Table of Western PA Local Food Conference
10am-5pm
David L. Lawrence Convention Center, Allegheny County
Meet over 5,000 people interested in local foods. Our 12th Local Food Conference brings together farms, food/beverage producers, health & wellness professionals, retailers who all contribute to the local food economy & the state of health for people throughout Western PA. The conference provides consumers with two days of networking and educational opportunities. Seasonal cooking demonstrations, gardening, and information about the nutritional value of local food are presented by local experts.
