By promoting local farms and businesses the Bloomfield Saturday Market increases the visibility of Bloomfield's business district. By bringing in local farms the Market also increases the health of the community. The Market accepts credit and debit cards as well as EBT cards and matches every $5 spent in EBT with $2 for fresh fruits and vegetables further increasing the value of SNAP benefits.
