Description:

Core Goods opened in September 2018 and is located in downtown Oil City, PA. The values of Core Goods are local, sustainable, quality, and nourishing, with a mission to "provide products and education around food and wellness, to help customers live healthfully, in mind, body, and spirit."

Half of the store has bulk food bins, with dry goods such as nuts, seeds, dried fruit, granola, rice, pasta, beans, flours, snack foods, coffee beans, and spices. Customers can bring their own containers to fill and get as much or as little as they need.

Core Goods also sells many other local items, including organic produce, bread, eggs, tofu, dark chocolate bites, kombucha (on tap), maple syrup, and honey. Each week, grab and go meals are available and are mostly plant-based, including hummus and veggies, kale salads, quinoa salads, and soups in the winter.

The store is a CSA drop-off location for Plot Twist Farm.
