ANAR GOURMET FOODS FILLS THIS TOWN WITH FLAVOR

Our memories are filled with food. What we ate in our childhoods, from our everyday breakfasts to our special occasion dinners, lives in our hearts and in our minds. It reaches to us over time and across continents through our taste buds and our noses, bringing us comfort, solace, and joy. And sometimes, when we manage to replicate the tastes of our happiness, we share them with others. When we’re most lucky, others share theirs with us. And that’s how Anar Gourmet Foods was born.

Husband and wife Glenn and Priya started mixing spices while cooking together and for each other. They cooked for friends and neighbors, testing and revising until they discovered the perfect recipes. And eventually they formed Anar Gourmet Foods, a collection of spice blends that transport the flavors of their family kitchen (if not the secrets) to yours.

Indian food might seem like a challenge to the novice chef, but armed with these simple, easy seasonings even the most casual cooks will be up for dishes like Spicy Chicken Curry, Tikka Masala, and Butter Chicken. And their HOT South Indian Curry Powder, with recipe direct from Priya’s grandmother, can bring a boost to any number of dishes.
