Blackberry Meadows Farm is hosting Farm Yoga
This series is designed for people who do physical labor, like farming and gardening. Learn how to use your body mindfully and efficiently, resulting in a long life of growing food!
You’ll leave with an understanding of how your habitual ways of using your body lead to aches and pains, and how to improve your biomechanics for gardening success!
Michael Gates has taught yoga for ten years. After sampling various yoga styles, he’s focused on the Iyengar Method, where he’s incorporated much of that system’s attention to alignment and balance. Michael believes his first responsibility as a teacher is to learn from his students.
This is the first in a series and will pick back up in the spring.
