This Wednesday our monthly Happy Hour comes to Kûlcher Kitchen, and this time around we’re joining up with Barrel & Flow Fest to bring a trio of beverage creators from Pittsburgh and nearby, along with vendors and a DJ for some midweek revelry that’s the most fun you can have on a Wednesday night anywhere.
We’re really excited to welcome D.O.P.E. Cider House and Winery, coming to us from Youngstown, Ohio. Hannah Ferguson holds the distinctive honor of being CEO and owner of the first Black and female owned cidery in Ohio, getting there with over a decade of experience.
D.O.P.E. has a wide range of ciders, beginning with the traditional, pure apple pour, branching out to play well with other fruits including mango, peach, cherry and grape, then expanding into cocktail flavor with Margarita and Pina Colada riffs. For this visit with us, they feature “Thank Me Later” pineapple cider, plus will surprise us with some yet-to-be revealed wine selections.
“D.O.P.E.” stands for “Dwelling On Positive Energy”, and we’re excited to experience this vibe as well as try their products- we’re so sure we’re gonna love them that we’re already planning a road trip to Youngstown to check out the spot itself.
D.O.P.E is joined by TLC Libations and Windy Bridges Brewing, along with vendors Karli’s Creations and Nabakindo Skincare, plus the musical accompaniment of DJ Hipnotik. Our event goes from 4-7 pm, but will be open their normal business hours throughout the day and evening. Contact us at lissabrennan.lb@gmail.com with any questions!
