Take your home birding to the next level- move beyond the feeders and houses and deep into the backyard with Gardening for Birds, presented virtually on Monday, February 17th from 7- 8:30 pm by Phipps Conservatory.
Even in the middle of the city, you can create your own private wildlife sanctuary with an outdoor space that’s not only gorgeous, but an invitation to your fine feathered friends to take up residence. Learn everything you need to know with instructor Gabi Hughes of the Audubon Society, possessor of a wealth of knowledge on all things avian.
This is just one of many stand-alone classes and workshops Phipps offers to independent learners. It’s also an elective in their Ecological Gardening certificate program, an adult education option that includes classes like Botany for Gardeners, Plant Propagation, and Home Garden Design.
