HAPPY HOUR WITH CON ALMA & CHAPEL VALLEY HONEY! TUESDAY, JUNE 25th!

We continue our Happy Hour series uniting area food growers and creators with locally-owned and operated bars & restaurants on Tuesday, June 25th, when we join Chapel Valley Honey and Con Alma!

Chapel Valley Honey is a collaboration between Jim Fitzroy and Michelle Wright, who met when Michelle was doing news interviews about honeybees in 2012.  She became fascinated and bought her own hive to learn more.  With Jim’s leadership and expertise they began selling to local gourmet chefs, wholesalers, specialty shops and grocery stores. They offer beekeeping lessons, give tours of their beehives, make presentations to students and community groups and constantly work to develop new products.

Inspired by the rich heritage of jazz in Pittsburgh, Con Alma, which means “with soul,” seeks to return jazz to its rightful place at the forefront of the local music scene while providing patrons with some of the best food and drinks the city has to offer.  An inventive yet grounded creativity informs a kitchen inspired by cuisine from around the world, led by co-owner/Chef Josh Ross. Plates pair in harmony with house invented cocktails and a meticulously selected wine list curated by co-owner Aimee Marshall featuring varietals from all over the world.

We can’t wait to see what happens when these two powerhouses come together, and we’d love for you to join us! Happy Hour will be from 5-7 pm on Tuesday, June 25th, at Con Alma at 613 Penn Avenue in Downtown Pittsburgh. For more information, email lissafarmtotable@gmail.com!
