July 30th: Potential Vendor Open House at Pittsburgh Public Market

Seeking new vendors and service based businesses to join our top-notch culinarians.

Pittsburgh Public Market is seeking full time, non-food vendors to become a part of our Market community.  Pittsburgh Public Market provides an economic opportunity for low-cost retail space for local farmers, service-based businesses, artisans, purveyors, and specialty food producers, for whom traditional retail options provide real barriers.

With the opening of The Market kitchen, we have experienced a true food boom here at the market. We are now on a waitlist for food-based businesses, although our shared use the commercial kitchen is still accepting applications for membership.

Vendor Reviews

“It can take 1-5 years for a small business to turn a profit but I’ve been able to do so in just 7 months because of the low startup cost of becoming a merchant at Pittsburgh Public Market and the built-in customer base.”

-Tarina Visone, Owner, Mind Body Essentials

“In just over 6 months, I’ve outgrown my space at Pittsburgh Public Market and expanded to double the size. I wouldn’t have been able to do that without the low operating cost, the cross promotion that occurs between merchants, and the knowledge that each individual business owner brings to the table and shares within the Market.”

-Eliza Jane Bowman, Owner, Eliza’s Oven
