Veterans & Military: Hydroponics & Aquaponics Workshop

A FREE workshop series for veterans & military members through The Farm at Greater Washington County Food Bank in collaboration with Chatham University and Mission Homestead.

This will be a hands-on 10 session series taught by The Farm staff and Chatham University’s Aquaculture Professor, Dr. Roy Weitzell. The program will include:

  • Tours of Trinity High School & Chatham University’s state of the art hydroponics & aquaponics systems
  • Hands-on experience with The Farm’s hydroponics systems
  • A workshop binder & lesson materials to keep
  • 1 Free Food-grade IBC Tank Upon Program completion for use in your own hydroponics/aquaponics system
  • Program completion certificate

The 10 workshops will take place from 6pm-8pm every Monday from March 2nd-May 4th, 2020. Most workshops will take place at The Farm (909 National Pike West, Brownsville, PA 15417), with two workshops/farm tours taking place at Trinity High School and Chatham University’s Eden Hall Camp
