WHOLESALING TO INSTITUTIONS offered by PA Dept of Agriculture and PA Preferred

The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture joins with PA Preferred to present an Institutional Wholesaling Training on December 10th and 11th, held in the Keystone Conference Center at Harrisburg’s Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex. Growers and producers of fruits, veg, meat, dairy, eggs, honey, etc., are all welcome participants, attendance can include more than one representative of an entity as long as all parties are involved in financial planning and management, and producers of all sizes and scopes can benefit.

Farmers will learn how to incorporate bulk sales to clients like public, private, and charter schools; colleges and universities; retirement homes, hospitals, and prisons into their growing and selling programs. Guidance specifically designed for individual farms will be available, as well as the opportunity to meet prospective buyers.

This invaluable workshop is offered free of charge, and includes accommodations and meals. Attendance on both days in full is required, and cancellation by December 6th at the latest is necessary if you register in advance and become unavailable. This program offers a great opportunity to expand your market and sales by creating a relationship with a potentially steady, ongoing buyer in bulk.
