Pond Hill Farm. Deadline November 3!
This Certified Naturally Grown farm of GMO free produce spent last winter seeing what their greenhouse could do, and they were so happy with the results they build two more greenhouses to offer their first Winter CSA. Subscribers will receive 5 or 6 vegetables each week, the first three weeks per month beginning November 4th and running through January 20th. Pick up locations are in Freeport, Bellevue, and Penn Hills on Wednesday; Butler, Sewickley, and on the Kittanning farm itself on Thursday. Commitment can be as short as one month.
They’ve additionally joined up with Brynhill Flower Farm to offer Tulip and Lily packages.
This first-generation family farm offers a 7 week Fall CSA beginning the 2nd week of November and finishing the 3rd full week of December. Small, medium and large options are available, with multiple pick-up locations across the Pittsburgh area. They also have multiple optional add-ons: Building New Hope and El Porvenir for a coffee share; mushroom share from the Real Fungi Food Hub; Woolf Farms and Durgin Orchards for a fruit share; cow & goat cheese share including products from Goat Rodeo, Clover Creek Cheese Cellar, Pleasant Lane Farms, Cherish Creamery, and Pasture Maid; and egg share from Hilltop Farm.

This non-GMO producer is committed to sustainable farming, and their Fall CSA brings you a four week subscription of five different items each week throughout November, plus three recipes each week for inspiration. Pick up is offered in Bellevue, Chippewa, Pine Township, and Oakmont.
While they’re not offering an ongoing CSA, this farm is currently featuring a Veggie Package as a sampler representative of a CSA share, with Napa cabbage, bok choy, radishes, peppers, and more. This will be available while supplies last, and can be picked up at their Natrona Heights Farm, or at Point Breeze, Squirrel Hill, and Bloomfield locations.
