Just Harvest threw one of last year’s most intriguing events with the debut of JustART, a fundraising evening of visual works by local creators. This week JustART returns, in a new location, featuring dozens of original works, offering an online gallery, and inviting supporters of food justice to enjoy another incredible night of art and activism.
Thursday, October 24 brings JustART: Transformative Voices of Advocacy, centering social welfare, exploring food justice, and investigating how inequitable systems can be dismantled and transformed to uplift and empower individuals and communities. Through a collaborative curation process, over 30 works have been selected in a wide variety of mediums.

This time around, they’ve moved the festivities to the Irma Freeman Center for the Imagination, wth beer from Trace Brewing, wine from Tina’s, small bites, and an talk from featured artist Andrea London. London’s book, “We Are All Related”, collects portraits of individuals and families photographed in her Pittsburgh studio, and will be available for purchase.
Exhibited artworks can also be purchased at the event or online, with 40% of each sale benefitting Just Harvest and 60% going to artists.
