From our friends at Pennsylvania Women’s Agricultural Network
Join Penn State Extension and the American Farmland Trust for a three-part workshop focusing on land access in Western Pennsylvania!
Access to land is one of the biggest barriers preventing farmers from starting and growing their businesses. In this workshop series, we will learn about land access options specific to western PA, and we will review key components of a land assessment, identifying tools, resources, and contacts for conducting an evaluation. We will also cover land use policy and community factors specific to a site, as well as the relationship between property features and conservation, business, and personal goals.
