One of the best late spring views in Pittsburgh is of the Allegheny River from Tree Pittsburgh’s event space, a gorgeous indoor/ outdoor venue providing comfort and elegance within a natural environment. It’s best enjoyed with a tasty libation in hand, and on Sunday June 1st and Monday June 2nd, Roundabout Brewery hosts a pop-up with a pint to that very end.
The pint in question is more specifically their Ginga Wheat, a summertime treat with fresh pressed ginger, lemon, and local honey from McCormack Apiaries. The drink menu additionally boasts a specialty margarita, more local beer, and cider, and for food La Palapa features their renowned Mexican cuisine. Bring your own water bottle to this zero waste facility, and bring the family (with the exception of the fur members) as well, from 1-7 pm on Sunday and 4- 8 pm Tuesday.
Tree Pittsburgh stays busy with a Bloomfield Mulching Party on Tuesday June 3rd with Bloomfield Development Corporation, then on June 4th (and every Wednesday) welcome volunteers to their Heritage Nursery. Learn more about these and other upcoming events here!
