
The Black Farmer Fund has a mission to “nurture Black community wealth & health by investing in Black agricultural systems in the Northeast”, and they’re currently taking applications for their Community Garden Fund, supporting up to 20 gardens or gardeners with awards of $500. Funds can be used for general business costs, equipment, recurring expenses, etc.
Application is a simple process through this Google Form, with deadline on February 16th and award notification by March 3rd. All Black-led community gardens and Black individuals working at a community garden in Pennsylvania (along with 8 other Northeastern states) are eligible. If this is you, apply today!
