Western PA's Local Food Guide
Flip through Local Food Guide
In 2012 we purchased our home in New Salem with just under 5 acres. Redrange Farm LLC is considered a growing micro-farm located in SW PA. Now in 2020, we are working over 100 acres growing produce, livestock, poultry, and future hay production. Livestock consists of Heritage Breeds: Spanish Goats, Karakul Sheep, Poultry Heritage Breeds: Barred Rock Chicken, Black Spanish Turkey, and Silver Appleyard Ducks.
Our mission was clear, we wanted to leave as little carbon footprint as possible, using natural resources to produce food. Believing in a holistic approach, working with the livestock, poultry, nature and the seasons.
We custom grow to produce for restaurants, retailers, manufacturers, and distributors. Also growing for our community needs, local schools, health agencies, and food banks.
Preserving our agricultural legacy through heirloom produce, heritage breed livestock, and sustainable agriculture; thus preserving the land, air, water and biodiversity for future generations.
Regenerative sustainable farming with the smallest carbon footprint. One part of the farm feeds the other so we can feed ourselves, our community and you. Food with integrity, nutrients, and great tastes.
