Western PA's Local Food Guide

The Bloomfield Saturday Market was started to increase the overall health and prosperity of the community as well as provide a safe community gathering place. Bringing healthy, locally sourced foods to the Bloomfield area accomplishes both of those goals. By promoting local farms and businesses the Bloomfield Saturday Market increases the visibility of Bloomfield's business district. By bringing in local farms the Market also increases the health of the community. The Market accepts credit and debit cards as well as EBT cards and matches every $5 spent in EBT with $2 for fresh fruits and vegetables further increasing the value of SNAP benefits.
